Hello LSST Families!

Thank you to all swimmers & volunteers who participated in our first dual meet last night and honored our seniors. We appreciated everyone who jumped in and helped with setup, fulfilling jobs and tearing down. Before the craziness of next week (2 home meets + home invitational), I have a few details/updates to pass along. Remember, all previous emails can be found under the "News" tab of our website.

• Deadlines are tonight for East Cocalico (by 6 pm) & CV Invitational (8 pm)!
• PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE EARLY WITHOUT CHECKING IN WITH A COACH!  Coach Michael asked me to reiterate the importance of this. We had a relay disqualified last night due to this issue and need to prevent it from happening again. If you must leave, simply check with a coach first to ensure your child is not slated for any additional events.
• Family Mailbox - Be sure to check the family file "mailbox" after every meet.  It's usually sitting on the white picnic table at practice. That's where you'll find your ribbons and any other important handouts. Swim-A-Thon forms will be in there tomorrow!
• Team Buddies - Please don't forget to reach out to your younger buddies, especially with words of encouragement and a small treat at home meets. There are no expectations on the younger swimmers to do anything for the older ones. Sorry if that wasn't clear before.
• Meet Attendance/Jobs - With only about 60% of our team signed up for meets this week, it's even more important to select a volunteer opportunity. If your swimmer is attending, please choose a role ASAP. We still need 10 roles filled for Thursday's meet at East Cocalico.
• Concessions - Due to some of our regular volunteers traveling next week, we could really use an extra hand or two with managing concessions. We have a HUGE amount of people to feed in the span of a few days. If you'd be in a position to help pick up some items, make some food, or be "on deck" as needed, please email [email protected]. When donating items, please be sure that you commit before the day of the meet. Our board members have to purchase items that aren't donated and need sufficient time to do this. Thanks for your cooperation.
• Lititz Springs Invitational (June 27) - This is our biggest fundraiser of the season and we absolutely, positively need ALL of you there! Get your swimmers committed! Currently we only have 14 families registered and it simply cannot happen without everyone's help. Start recruiting older siblings, able-bodied grandparents and others to help. It typically runs pretty fast and wraps up by 12-1 pm. More details coming next week, but look over jobs/donations as soon as you can.
• Swimtopia Issues - A few of you have mentioned various issues with Swimtopia, either on the app or website. Please reach out immediately if you're having difficulty so that we can remedy the situation.
