All parents of swim team members are requested to participate in one or more volunteer areas. 

8 & 10 Helper: We need 4 for each dual meet, 2 per half of the meet. You will get the line up from the coaches prior to the beginning of the meet. This sheet will tell you which swimmer is swimming which event and which lane they are to be in. Your job is to make sure the swimmers for the 8 & 10-year-old groups are in the chairs before their event. 

Ribbons: Ribbons are handed out for each meet. There are two types of ribbons for dual meets. Live Ribbons are given out for swimmers swimming in Live Heats. Live heats score points for your team. Exhibition heats also receive ribbons, however, there are no points awarded to the team. We need 1 or 2 volunteers for each dual meet. Training is available. 

Runner: This person is responsible for running the timers sheets up to the scoring table during the meet. Usually 2 people are required for this position and it would be for Home meets only. 

Scoring Table: We need 2 or 3 for each dual meet. Training is required for this job. There will be a clinic prior to the season starting. 

Set Up & Tear Down: We need as many people as possible for these jobs. The more people we have the less time it takes. This job is only for HOME meets. We have to put the starting blocks in, put the lane lines in the pool, put the flags up, put the drop rope up, set up the chairs for staging and set up the scoring/announcing area. 

Stroke & Turn Judge: The official positioned at the side of the pool, walking the length of the course as the swimmers race. If the Stroke Judge sees something illegal, they report to the referee and the swimmer may be disqualified. We need 2 for each home dual meet. 

Timer: The volunteers sitting behind the starting blocks/finish end of pool, who are responsible for getting watch times on events and activating the backup buttons for the timing system. We need 12 timers for each dual meet, 6 per each half of the meet.

Concession Stand Sales: Help prepare walking tacos, keep the food table stocked with items, and run the cash drawer.
