Hello LSST Families,

It was great to celebrate with so many of you at the picnic.  If you missed it, be sure to check the family mailbox for any certificates and/or awards.  Coaches will have other trophies and medals to distribute as well.  Thank you for all the ways you've contributed this season - transporting your swimmers to & from practices, donating items for concessions, volunteering at meets, cheering on deck, and just being a supportive presence in the lives of our kiddos.  We can't thank you enough!

So, here we are at the last week of practices.  Same practice schedule is in place.  Everyone may attend practices, regardless of whether or not you've qualified for the League meet.  That being said, anyone wishing to swim on a relay must let Coach Michael know at practice tomorrow and/or sign up on the team site. Entries are due by Monday, July 20th at 8 pm.  NO QUALIFYING TIMES ARE NEEDED FOR RELAYS!

• SWIM-A-THON DONATIONS should be turned in to Chris Calender ASAP!
• BOARD & COMMITTEE NOMINATIONS can be submitted to [email protected] all this week.  You may nominate yourself or someone else!  No lifelong commitment or experience required.  Openings include: Secretary, Treasurer, Volunteer Coordinator, LSI Co-Chair, Concessions Co-Chair, Spirit Wear Coordinator, Member(s) at Large
• LEAGUE MEET @ NEW HOLLAND POOL (7/24 & 7/25) - Be on the lookout for an email from Coach Michael with details.  We will need volunteers to transport items and serve as timers on both Friday & Saturday.
• BOARD MEETING - Mark your calendars for Mon., Aug. 17th.  All parents & guardians are welcome to attend. We meet at 7:00 pm at the Warwick Township Building on Clay Road in Lititz.
• SOCIAL MEDIA - If you haven't done so already, request to join our private Facebook group: Lititz Springs Swim Team

Even though the season is ending, we try to get together and stay connected in the off season.  Last year our team entered the Lititz Halloween Parade in the fall (and WON in the float division...check out the website for photos).  We also met up for a Warwick home swim meet together.  We'll do our best to keep everyone in the loop about all things LSST!
